We experience wood in many areas of our lives. Its increasing
popularity in the production of work surfaces and flooring
demonstrates growing consumer demand for a more natural alternative
to mass-produced synthetic materials, where manufacture depends
upon ever-depleting stocks of valuable world oil resources.

All of our timbers are manufactured from regulated sources to the highest standards. Timbers from North America and Canada have been heavily regulated for many years and in Europe measures are constantly being taken to improve forestry and re-plantation conditions. Environmental concerns are being addressed and many of the developed nations will now only buy timber from guaranteed sustainable sources.

Since 1977, West African timber has been regulated by Fabrique Ivoirienne de Parquet (FIP), which has followed and encouraged initiatives to promote sustainable forestry management. FIP also helps the local population in the construction of schools, nurseries and churches, the provision of hospital equipment, water pumps and generators, as well as providing many employment opportunities, thereby improving the economic life of surrounding villages.
