Solid
wooden worktops are finished with two coats of special oil, which seals and protects the wood. After its installation, the worktop will need more coats of oil to nourish and protect the surface. Oiling is recommended once a day for the first week, thereafter once a week for the first month. This will give the worktop adequate cover against normal everyday use in the kitchen, although further coats will be required. |
